Drug & Alcohol

Our drug and alcohol training course

Our drug and alcohol training course is designed for people who are responsible for conducting drug and alcohol testing in the workplace. 


It takes approximately 8.5 hours to complete and will satisfy the course requirements for HLTPAT005 - Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing. All training equipment will be supplied, and upon completion of the course you will have the skills to:


  • Understand the organisational guidelines for drug & alcohol testing
  • Plan for drug & alcohol testing
  • Communicate testing requirements to employees
  • Undertake random, reasonable & post-incident testing through urine, saliva & alcohol breath tests
  • Complete records & testing documentation

  • HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid (Standard)
  • HLTAID015 – Provide Advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy (Standard)

 

Learn to resuscitate, treat external injuries, provide CPR and much more. We recommend you renew your CPR licence every 12 months in line with industry standards.

    Yes. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends your CPR certification to be renewed every 12 months. 

  • How long does a first aid course take?

    • CPR HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): 2 hours
    • HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life support: 5 hours

    HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (include CPR): 4 hours

    • HLTAID012 – Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting: 5 hours
    • HLTAID014 – Advanced First Aid: 8 hours
    • HLTAID015 – Advanced Resuscitation: 4 to 6 hours
    • UETTDRRFO6B - Live Panel Rescue: 4 to 5 hours

    If you completed your training from a nationally accredited provider, your certificate will be recognised Australia wide.
